    About This Event

    About the Workshop

Go beyond the basics of flower pressing in this immersive, working session designed for curious creators ready to elevate their practice. If you have ever struggled with browning petals, muddy colors, or finicky summer blooms like roses and cosmos, this workshop is designed to fill in the gaps. You will spend the evening with your hands in the flowers, discovering the exact techniques required to separate a beautifully preserved bloom from one that falls apart.

    What to Expect

This is a fully hands-on creative evening—not a lecture. Utilizing professional-grade Vivid Press Papers and studio presses, you will learn the step-by-step investigative process of premium floral preservation. The session covers optimal harvest timing, pressure and layering secrets, and specialized troubleshooting for dense, moisture-heavy summer flowers like dahlias and ranunculus. To wrap up the experience, you will use your freshly pressed elements to design and create a custom floral greeting card to take home.

    Who Is This For?

This workshop is perfect for casual seasonal pressers, plant lovers, and makers who want to move past simple book-pressing into intentional, reliable techniques. Whether you want to learn to use the tools during class or opt to purchase a professional press to take home and continue your practice, you will leave with the confidence to preserve any peak-summer bloom.
