Learn the layered technique behind shimmering, textured floral artwork. No prior art experience needed.
Take Home
A one-of-a-kind gold leaf piece and a technique you can keep using long after the workshop ends.
In this beginner-friendly session, you'll build a piece like the one shown: a deep indigo night sky, a luminous gold leaf moon with real dimensional texture, and delicate ink-lined blooms trailing down in soft metallic stems. Early Bird Pricing available
You'll work directly with genuine gold leaf, learning how to apply adhesive size, lay and burnish the leaf for that signature crackled shimmer, and seal it so it lasts. From there, you'll hand-illustrate botanical linework with petals, stems, and star-like dots. All layered on top of your gilded base to bring the whole piece to life.
What to Expect
Tea and lemonade complimentary!

With a Master’s in Visual (Fine) Art and a background in design, Anuja brings a strong creative foundation to her work. While she is actively engaged in the digital world as a marketing lead, her passion for art led her to create Creative Leaf as a space to share, teach, and build meaningful creative experiences. Her work often reflects a seamless blend of different art forms, shaped by both visual practice and musical training.
Creative Leaf workshops are hosted across the Bay Area, including Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose, Fremont, and the Tri-Valley. In addition to regular workshops, Anuja curates and leads art experiences for birthday parties, private gatherings, baby showers, and corporate events—designing each experience to be engaging, accessible, and memorable, while fostering a sense of connection through creativity.
The workshop will be held inside a beautiful cottage in a prominent residential community in Rivermark, Santa Clara.
