About This Event
Diwali Fest 2026 brings a full day of creativity and celebration to Sunnyvale, with hands-on art and craft activities designed for kids and families.
Presented by RTAM Palettes in collaboration with the South Asian Cultural Association of Sunnyvale (SACAS), the creative programming runs in three activity blocks across the day:
12PM - 2PM
- Rangoli competition
- Clay pencil-back activity
2:30PM – 4:30PM
- Watercolor card making
- Rock painting
5PM – 7PM
- Oil-pastel card making
- Paper crafts
The workshops are part of the larger Sunnyvale Diwali celebration, which includes cultural performances, food, vendors, a kids’ zone, henna, and more brought to you by the South Asian Cultural Association of Sunnyvale (SACAS). A volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2021 to celebrate South Asian culture, arts, and festivals and promotes inclusion in Sunnyvale. Its Diwali celebration has grown into a large free community event with performances, food, vendors, kids’ activities, and cultural programming.
Come by for one activity or spend the day exploring the festival, making something festive, and celebrating Diwali with the community.
