5PM – 7PM
The hands-on art workshops are part of Sunnyvale Diwali 2026 brought to you by SACAS, a free community mela in downtown Sunnyvale on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11:30 AM–7:30 PM. The larger celebration includes Indian classical dance, Bollywood performances, food vendors, henna, a kids’ zone, handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, and a wide mix of local businesses and community groups. Come by for one activity or spend the day exploring the festival, making something festive, and celebrating Diwali with the community.

Born from a shared passion for artistic expression, Rtam Palettes is a collaborative creative studio led by a team of five dedicated women artists based in the heart of the Bay Area, who believe that art is a bridge between community and culture. Their mission is to bring that vision to life through both their exclusive line of artisanal products and our commitment to arts education.
Each piece created is a reflection of their collective imagination, born from the unique perspectives and creative energy of the five-member team. Beyond the studio, they are deeply committed to fostering creativity in others, regularly partnering with community organizations to host hands-on workshops that inspire the next generation of artists.
Join them in celebrating the beauty of handmade, passion-driven work.

The South Asian Cultural Association of Sunnyvale (SACAS) is a volunteer-run nonprofit created to celebrate South Asian culture, arts, and festivals while welcoming the broader Sunnyvale community into those traditions. Since 2021, SACAS has been building community through large public celebrations, with Diwali as one of its signature events.
